| Ni/Diatomite (diatomaceous earth) composite powders consist of a
diatomite core coated with a thin layer of nickel. It has the
superior oxidation resistance, anti scour and thermal shock
resistance. The coatings obtained by thermo-spraying are oxidation resistant and heat-shock resistant at 750 degree centigrade or below and air abradable seal applications. The coatings with oxidation resistant, anti scour and thermal shock resistance is combined the heat-resistant quality of the natural diatomaceous earth and the strength and good adhesion of Ni. It is used in the abradable seal coating at 750 degree centigrade or below. Not only control the radial clearance of the turbine but also keep the sealing of the gas circuit of the gas compressor. |
